HAMILTON PREPARATORY – LADYSMITH

Hamilton Preparatory is an ongoing 10 year collaboration with a rare and visionary client.  The venture started with a conversion of an existing dilapidated house into a flexible school facility to serve multiple spatial needs. The campus has since grown with additional classrooms, playing fields, staff houses, and more recently a music and drama hall. An important aspect for the longer term growth of the campus, has been to create a masterplan that emphasises the importance of the external spaces between the buildings to ensure a coherent and connected pattern language for growth
